Compozitiile acestui rus (Igor Bystrov) sunt din categoria ''ambient''. Unul dintre preferatii mei pe acesta nisa a muzici electronice. Cui ii place acest gen dar nu stie de Parks, recomand. Nu are nici o legatura cu treaba de dj, omul si-a compus cap coada muzica, are personalitatea lui clar conturata. Muzica lui este atmosferica, expresiva, melancolica, nu este ceva pentru oameni care se grabesc - echivalentul sonor al unui pastel intr-o mare masura.

Pentru genul din care face parte si pentru gustul meu, Tom Lacy este digerabil/placut. Rave-ul asta ''melodios'' din perspectiva mea este o cenusareasa, o subcategorie a genului tehno care in majoritatea situatiilor este ceva insipid. Tot timpul, clipurile de muzica ''rave'' au un aspect exterior ''new age'' fata de care am suspiciuni mari vis a vis de faptul ca chiar sunt constienti de ce debiteaza.
In fine; nici un artist nu este consecvent in productiile lui muzicale ca si albume; faptul ca de la an la an cineva ar produce in principiu ceva din ce mai bun ca si o consecinta a vreunei evolutii aparent logice in intentii, consider ca este o ineptie. Unii produc ce pot oferi maximal la inceputul carierei, unii la sfarsitul ei, depinde de context si de personalitatea artistica.
Altii sunt buni tot timpul, omogenii in creatiile lor, din cauza complexitatii sonore si a surselor din care se inspira, pe care nu uita sa le precizeze, sunt onesti si nu plictisesc (pe mine cel putin). The Future Sound of London, un exemplu de potenta creativa la modul consecvent.
